KJ Julian is the Student Pastor at The Chapel in Richmond, Virginia. His vision for students is to see them come to know God, find freedom, and make a difference. He felt the call to pursue a life dedicated to student ministry at the age of 16, and believes that the youth aren’t the future of the Church, but that they’re the Church right now. KJ is also the President of Impact Richmond, a youth service camp that helps repair homes and living conditions for elderly, the disabled, and veterans in Central Virginia. He plays drums in a band, loves all things Marvel, and may or may not bake chocolate chip cookies most days of the week. KJ met his wife Emma at JMU while they both served as small group leaders with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. They live in Midlothian with their daughter Celia and their two cats Donut and Taco.
